Book Week – Early Childhood and Picture Book of the Year

Again in 2014, some of Australia’s most popular and favourite children’s authors such as Mem Fox, Alison Lester, Libby Gleeson and Bob Graham have been nominated for the Children’s Book Council of Australia Awards.

Baby Bedtime by Mem Fox and Emma Quay

I’m a Dirty Dinosaur by Janenn Brian and Ann James

A gloriously grubby dinosaur finally decides he needs a wash in this colourful rhyming picture book. Lots of stomping, splashing and shaking to enjoy with your child! For every child who loves to get messy – and then clean again. Rating 4 stars out of 5.

Kissed by the Moon by Alison Lester

A poetic lullaby of a book from Children’s Laureate Alison Lester, with delightful illustrations to match. Lots of detail to look at as you share the beauty of our world with your baby. Rating: 4 stars out of 5.
