Storytime is a program for 3 to 5 year olds. We read stories, do fingerplays and rhymes and sometimes we use puppets, feltboard stories and games. We also do craft and show a short approved film. The sessions are themed and are great for those who are just about to go to pre-school or school.
Storytime programmes are held at both library locations:
Leichhardt Library
Wednesday and Saturday at 11am
Balmain Library
Thursday and Saturday at 11am
Bookings are required for these sessions

Today, I went to the beach with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. The new Zune browser is surprisingly good,but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
